Power Putty

DESCRIPTION:

POWER PUTTY is a ready to use waterproof, finishing/smoothing material for indoor and outdoor building wall surfaces and ceilings. It renders a smooth and durable surface to all kind of decorative paints.

USES:

POWER PUTTY makes the wall(s)/ceiling(s) surfaces smooth for final the decorative paints. POWER PUTTY can be applied to both interior and exterior walls.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE:

    SURFACE PREPARATION

  • The surface should be cleaned mechanically to remove all loosely adhering particles from the wall/ceiling surface. All surfaces shall have to be thoroughly pre-wetted with sufficient quantity of clean water prior to the application of POWER PUTTY.
    MIXING

  • Mix POWER PUTTY with recommended water content until a homogeneous paste of desired consistency is achieved.
    APPLICATION

  • Apply first coat of POWER PUTTY on already moistened surface with the help of putty blade or trowel.
  • After drying of first coat apply second coat with freshly mixed material.
  • After complete drying and hardening, the surface should be prepared with the fine waterproof emery paper before painting.
  • POWER PUTTY should be applied by skilled applicators.
  • Mix only that quantity of material, which can be consumed within workable time.
    CLEANING

  • Wash all the tools/tackles with water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
    COVERAGE:

  • Approximately 1.2 kg powder/m2

PACKAGING & STORAGE:

    POWER PUTTY is available in the following pack:

  • 40 kg packaging
  • Shelf life is 6 months in sealed containers as provided
  • Store packing in a cool and dry place in original sealed pack

HEALTH & SAFETY:

  • Protect hands with rubber gloves and eyes with goggles.
  • Accidental splashes to the skin or eyes must be rinsed immediately with clean water.
  • Store in well-labeled containers.

TECHNICAL SERVICE:

This Division gives advice on the selection of right products and provides guidance about product application. ADO undertakes consultancy services for diagnosis rehabilitation of distressed structures.

PRECAUTION FOR USE:

ADO Products are generally harmless, provided certain precautions are taken for handling chemicals. Avoid contact with foodstuff and food utensils. Avoid prolonged skin contact. Wear protective clothing, use gloves, use barrier cream etc. In the event of contamination, wash thoroughly with water. If eye or mouth is affected, wash with clean water immediately and obtain professional medical attention.
