DESCRIPTION:
AT-VIBROUT 542 is a solvent free pourable grout, based on a combination of high strength epoxy resins and specially graded aggregates. After mixing, it forms a flow-able mortar, suitable for grouting and filling.
USES:
- AT-VIBROUT 542 is a high strength material with no shrinkage. It is suitable to grout the following:
- Bridge bearing plates
- Machine bases
- Fixing bolts and anchors
- Crane rail tracks
- Reinforcement
- Cavities in concrete
ADVANTAGES:
- AT-VIBROUT 542 cures without shrinkage
- Solvent free
- Good flow characteristics even in thin layers
- Rapid hardening
- Suitable for both dry and damp surfaces
- Shrinkage-free hardening
- Curing is unaffected by high humidity
- High mechanical strength
- Tough, vibration-resistant material
INSTRUCTION FOR USE:
- SURFACE PREPARATION
- All surfaces should be clean, free from standing water and all loosely adhering particles. Cement laitance should be removed. No priming is required. All metal surfaces should preferably to be sand blasted.
- MIXING
- Mix component A and B together for at least one minute with recommended electric hand drill and stirrer [max. 400 RPM]. Then add component C and continue mixing until a homogenous, flowing mortar is achieved. Care should be taken so that no air is entrapped due to mixing. Mixing ratio : COMPONENT A : COMPONENT B : COMPONENT C = 2 : 1 : 12
- APPLICATION METHOD
- When grouting under bearing plates, ensure that there is sufficient pressure to maintain movement/flow of the grout. Air must be allowed to escape. For large volume, apply more than one layer. Ensure that the previous layers have hardened and cooled.
- CLEANING
- All tools and equipment should be cleaned immediately after use.
