INSTRUCTION FOR USE:
- APPLICATION
- CLEAN THE JOINTS
- Clean the grout lines and scrap any protruding grout and clean again. Don’t scrap too hard or you may damage the tile
- MIX THE GROUT
- Pour the grout in water and mix with a margin trowel until all the powder is dissolved smoothly. Approximately 350 ml water is required for 1 kg of AT-TILE GROUT. Roll the bucket frequently during mixing. Scrap the bottom of the bucket to make sure all the grout is mixed properly to obtain desired consistency.
- LOAD THE GROUT FLOAT
- Tilt the bucket towards you. Drag some grout “up the slope” then scoop it onto the float.
- SPREAD THE GROUT
- Spread the grout diagonally across the tile to force it deep into the joints and ensure that it does not come out of the tile joints.
- SQUEZE OFF THE EXCESS
- Remove bulk of the grout by wiping in a serpentine motion. This helps evenly distribute the grout and prevents the grout float edge from digging into grout lines.
- SPONGE OFF THE SURFACE
- Sweep a damp (not wet) sponge diagonally across the tile. Rinse your sponge often and repeat until you are left with a thin haze.
- TOOL THE LINES
- Depress the sponge with your index finger and smooth out high or uneven grout lines. Don’t push too hard. Your goal is to have joints with same shape and depth.
- RUB OUT THE HAZE
- After the grout film has dried, polish away the haze with a cotton towel or for better results use a microfiber towel.
- CLEANING
- Clean all re-usable tools in water immediately after use.
