DESCRIPTION:
AT-PLAST (FFT) is a highly effective dual action liquid super plasticizer for producing free flowing concrete in tropical and hot weather or as a substantial water reducing agent for promoting high ultimate strength.
STANDARDS:
Complies to IS 9103, ASTM C 494, Type F
USES:
AT-PLAST (FFT) acts as a super plasticizer for flowing concrete in the following situations:
- Floor Slabs
- Pre-stressed concrete girders
- Foundation
- Slender components with densely packed reinforcement
- Walls and Columns
- Beams and Ceilings
- Especially suited for tiles manufacturing
- Bridges and cantilever structures
- Pre-cast concrete elements
ADVANTAGES:
AT-PLAST (FFT) provides following beneficial properties: AS A PLASTICIZER
- Substantial improvement in workability without increased water or risk of segregation
- Long lasting control of slump loss
- No adverse effect on ultimate strength.
AS A WATER REDUCER
- High water reduction
- Significant increase in ultimate strength
- Improved surface finish
- Improved water tightness
- No excessive air entrainment
- No adverse shrinkage effect
- Especially suitable for hot climates
DOSAGE: 0.5 – 3.0% by weight of cement. Exact dosage rates are dependent on the type of effect and retardation sought quality of cement and aggregates, W/C ratio and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is advisable to carry out trial mixes. AT-PLAST (FFT) is compatible with all kinds of Portland cement.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: AT-PLAST (FFT) should be added separately to the freshly mixed concrete or directly to the mixing water prior to its addition to the aggregates. When added separately to the freshly mixed concrete, it is recommended that further mixing should be carried out for at least one minute.
