Plast 100G

DESCRIPTION:

AT-PLAST 100G is a Water-Reducing and Set-Retarding Concrete Admixture based on carboxylicacid and other additives. AT-PLAST 100G is new generation concrete admixture in liquid form that acts as a set retarder with high plasticizing effect. It leads to substantial water reduction and this is achieved without loss of workability. AT-PLAST 100G is highly effective in producing concrete with varied levels of workability including applications such as Self Compacting Concrete (SCC).

DOSAGE:

• Dosage recommend in normal condition is 800 ml – 1200 ml per 100 kg of cementitious binder content
• In difficult conditions increase the dose to longer the set time
• Actual dosage rate required is dependent on effect sought; quality of cement and aggregates; W/C ratio; temperature, etc
• In many cases it is advisable to carry out prior trial mixes to determine the exact dosage
• AT-PLAST 100G is compatible with all types of Portland cement including S.R.C. or pozzolanic materials

DISPENSING:

• AT-PLAST 100G should be dispensed directly into the mixing water prior to its addition to the aggregates.

SPECIFICATION STATEMENT:

• Concrete shall be designed in accordance with ACI Standard Recommended Practice for Selecting Proportions of concrete (ACI 211. 1-89). The water reducing/set retarding admixture shall be AT-PLAST 100G, as manufactured by ADO or proved equal and shall comply with BS 5075, Part 1 or ASTM C-494 type D & G. It shall be used in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

PACKAGING & STORAGE:

• AT-PLAST 100G is available in the following pack:
  • 225 kg HDPE barrel
• Shelf life is 12 months in sealed containers as provided (temperature between +5°C and +40°C)
• Keep containers sealed and away from heat and cold in a well ventilated area

HEALTH & SAFETY:

• Use goggles, mask, nose cover and hand gloves during application.
• Clean hands with warm soap water after application.
• Avoid contact with skin / eyes.
• In case of unlikely contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water, then cleanse with soap and lukewarm water and seek medical advice.
• Do not use solvent to clean the contacted area.
• Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid inhalation of vapours as some people are sensitive to resins, hardeners and solvents.
• If swallowed seek medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
• Store in well-labeled containers.
