DESCRIPTION:
AT–COAT (WT) 767 is a third generation epoxy resin based protective dispersion coating designed and formulated to meet the requirement of modern construction and ecological needs. AT–COAT (WT) 767 contains no solvents and as such is non-flammable, odour-less, water dilute-able, easily applied and is also an effective curing compound where subsequent coating is desired.
STANDARDS:
- AT-COAT (WT) 797 confirms to US- FDA 175.300, IS- 13239 – 1991, IS- 101(Part 6, Sec 3) – 1990
USES:
- AT – COAT (WT) 767 can be applied on concrete, rendering, stone, asbestos, cement etc.
- Ideal for cantilevers, galleries, retaining walls, basements, workshops, reservoirs, balconies etc. against weathering and mild chemical attack.
- It can be applied on concrete and surfaces which are still wet for curing of the concrete.
ADVANTAGES:
- AT – COAT (WT) 767 protects cementitious structures against weathering
- Resistant to oil and grease weather proof mildew resistant
- No solvent and as such no fire hazards
- Non-toxic with drinking water
- Suitable for portable water reservoirs
- Thixotropic no runs on vertical surfaces
- Easy to apply with brush or roller, adheres to damp surfaces also
- Odourless and acts as a curing compound
- Can be applied to concrete immediately after removing frame work
COVERAGE:
COATING SYSTEM | PRODUCT | CONSUMPTION |
PRIMER | AT-COAT (WT) 767 + 20 % water by weight | 0.1 – 0.2 kg/m2 |
SEAL COAT | 2 – 3 x AT-COAT (WT) 767 | 0.15 – 0.25 kg/m2 per coat |
These figures are obtained under laboratory conditions and do not allow for any additional material due to surface porosity, surface profile, variations in level and wastage etc. Actual dosage depends on site trial.
APPLICATION:
- When mixed, it can be applied directly to the prepared surface by roller, spray or brush.
