Plast 301(I)KB

DESCRIPTION:

AT-PLAST 301(I) KB is a highly effective water-reducing agent and super plasticiser based on Polycarboxylate of High Molecular weight for promoting Compressive Strength and free flowing concrete. Does not contain any added Chloride.

STANDARDS:

It complies with IS: 9103 and ASTM C494 Type F

USES:

• AT-PLAST 301 (I) KB is used for the following types of concrete:
  • Ready mix concrete
  • Pumped and construction concrete
  • Slip form concrete
  • Concrete at mild to cold temperatures

ADVANTAGES:

TECHNICAL DATA:

CONSISTENCY:

• AT-PLAST 301 (I) KB is formulated from carefully selected raw materials and is manufactured under control conditions produce a consistent product.

HANDLING:

• AT-PLAST 301 (I) KB is formulated from chemicals, which present no fire or health hazards.

RATE OF ADDITION:

• With small dosage the increment of slump is more. The dosage depends on the cement content and the W/C ratio.

DOSAGE:

• For soft plastic concrete 0.60% – 0.85% by weight of cement
• For flowing self-compacting concrete (S.C.C) 0.80% – 1.20% by weight of cement the concrete
• Actual dosage depends on site trial

ADDITION : AT-PLAST 301 (I) KB is added to the gauging water or added into the concrete mixer. To obtain the optimum result of high water reduction we recommend thorough mixing at a minimal wet mixing time of 60 seconds. Addition of remaining gauging water to be fine-tuned as per concrete consistency, the same may only be started after 2/3 minutes of the wet mixing time to avoid surplus water in the concrete.

PACKAGING & STORAGE:

o AT-PLAST 301 (I) KB is available in 200 kg barrel or in Tanker
o Shelf life is 12 months in original & sealed packing
o Keep packing in cool, dry place away from heat, cold and moisture
o Stir material well before use

HEALTH & SAFETY:

• Protect hands with rubber gloves and eyes with goggles.
• Accidental splashes to the skin or eyes must be rinsed immediately with clean water or boric acid solution.
• Store in well-labeled containers.
• Ensure proper ventilation during product application and do not smoke during use.
