Plast 071

DESCRIPTION:

AT-PLAST 071 is a highly effective high range water reducing agent and super-plasticizer for promoting accelerated hardening and free flowing concrete. STANDARDS: It complies with IS: 9103 and ASTM C 494/C 494M -99a Type F

USES:

• AT-PLAST 071 is useful wherever high quality structural concrete is needed.
• AT-PLAST 071 is used for the following types of concrete:
  • Floor slabs & foundation
  • Slender components with congested re-inforcement
  • Walls and columns
  • Beams and ceilings
  • Pre-cast concrete elements
  • Pumping concrete and tunnel linings, etc

• Normal set without retardation, even when overdosed

TECHNICAL DATA:

DOSAGE:

• Recommended dosage: 0.5 to 2.0% by weight of binder depending on requirements concerning workability and strength.
• It is advisable to carry out trial mixes to establish the exact dosage rate.
• AT-PLAST 071 is compatible with all types of Portland cement including SRC.

ADDITION :

• AT-PLAST 071 is added to the gauging water or simultaneously with it poured into mixer. For optimum utilization of the high water reduction we recommend thorough mixing at a minimal wet mixing time of 60 seconds. The addition of the remaining gauging water to fine-tune the concrete consistency – may only be started after 2/3 minutes of the wet mixing time to, to avoid surplus water in the concrete. Do not add to the dry mix.

PACKAGING & STORAGE:

• AT-PALST 071 is available in 250 kg barrel
• Shelf life is 12 months in original & sealed packing
• Keep packing in cool, dry place away from heat, cold and moisture
• Stir material well before use

HEALTH & SAFETY:

• Protect hands with rubber gloves and eyes with goggles.
• Accidental splashes to the skin or eyes must be rinsed immediately with clean water.
• Store in well-labeled containers.
