Nit(LAF) P

DESCRIPTION:

AT-NIT (LAF) P is an alkali-free, shotcrete admixture in liquid form for application of spraying concrete. APPLICATION:

• AT-NIT (LAF) P is suitable for the application as accelerator for setting in the dry process of spray as well as the wet process of spraying. The main application of AT-NIT (LAF) P is in the following areas:
  • Safety of propulsion, rock and slope safety, high volume spraying concrete for construction.

EFFECT:

• The effect of the accelerator on setting time is dependent on the content of cement, age of cement, temperature inside the tunnel, process of spraying etc.

DOSAGE:

• The entire dosing is to be ascertained in pre-trial. For strengthening of the layer (or coating) up to approx 15 cm. In case of single charge, it is in the range of 3% to 10% of the content of binding agent. The dosing of AT-NIT (LAF) P is followed by a pump of crush (or squeeze) hose e.g. Aliva Al-403. An optimal nozzle and mixing must be guaranteed with the quality of demand.

APPLICATION TEMPERATURE:

• For shooting a thicker layer particularly on to the crown, the temperature should not be less than15°C.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION:

• Before the dispensing of AT-NIT (LAF) P in spraying machine, please note that all the hoses and dispensing tank should be thoroughly cleaned and make sure that normal sodium silicate based liquid accelerator is not present.

• AT-NIT (LAF) P is available in the following pack:
  • 275 kg barrel
• Shelf life is 6 months in sealed containers as provided (temperature between +5°C and +35°C)
• Keep containers sealed and away from heat and cold in a well ventilated area

HEALTH & SAFETY:

• Use goggles, mask, nose cover and hand gloves during application.
• Clean hands with warm soap water after application.
• Avoid contact with skin / eyes.
• In case of unlikely contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water, then cleanse with soap and lukewarm water and seek medical advice.
• Do not use solvent to clean the contacted area.
• Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid inhalation of vapours as some people are sensitive to resins, hardeners and solvents.
• If swallowed seek medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
• Store in well-labeled containers.
