DESCRIPTION:
AT-GROUT (HS) M is a ready-to-use, free flow, high strength non-shrink, non-metallic, rheoplastic grout. AT-GROUT (HS) M is recommended for grouting which demands to withstand static and dynamic loads. It is a blend of Portland cement, specially selected additives and graded fillers. It is ready to use pre-packed material and helps in overcoming batching variations. Only water needs to be added.
STANDARDS:
It complies with ASTM C827 & C1107
USES:
- Machine base plates
- Anchor bolts
- Column bases
- Bases of heavy equipments
- Cavities, gaps and recesses
- Bridge bearing packs
- Anchoring a wide range of fixings
- Suitable for Industrial & Infrastructural Projects like – Steel Projects, Thermal Projects, Hydel Projects, etc
ADVANTAGES:
- Pre-packed quality material hence reduces complications associated with on-site mixing and skill, only water needs to be added
- Non shrinking, ensures flow-able consistency, excellent workability and superb void filling capability (i.e. self levelling property)
- High early strength
- High ultimate strength ensure the durability of the hardened grout
- Its early high compressive strength, eliminates long waiting periods until final loads can be applied
- No metallic iron content, hence no chance of staining
- No segregation or bleeding
- Non-toxic and safe to handle
COVERAGE:
- 2.0 kg (approx) will yield 1 ltr. fluid grout
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
- SURFACE PREPARATION: All surface laitance and unsound concrete must be chipped away so that a reasonable rough, but strong and sound surface is achieved. Surface must be free from oil, grease and dust; this particularly applies to the underside of bed plates, bolts, pipes or other materials which may have surface contact with the grout. After cleaning, there should be no standing water present on surface of foundations or in bolt holes before application of AT-GROUT (HS) M.
- MIXING: AT-GROUT (HS) M is best mixed with mechanical mixer. Powder is gradually added to pre-measured water and mixed mechanically with slow speed drill until a smooth and even consistency achieved.
- APPLICATION: Pour the fluid grout after mixing from one end only. Ensure air to escape. For flowing grout sufficient head pressure have to be ensured.
- CURING: After the grout is initially hardened curing has to be done with wet hessian cloth.
