DESCRIPTION:
AT-CURE (WB) P is a ready to use, liquid curing compound based on premium quality wax. AT-CURE (WB) P effectively prevents premature water loss from concrete due to hydration heat and sunlight. The thin film of AT-CURE (WB) P retains sufficient moisture in the concrete to ensure full hydration of the cement; which is essential for optimum strength development. AT-CURE (WB) P cured concrete is typically harder and exhibits dust free surface and reduces shrinkage cracks.
STANDARDS:
AT-CURE (WB) P complies with ASTM C 309 Type 2 Class A
USES:
- AT-CURE (WB) P forms a thin film barrier over newly laid surface to prevent premature water loss and thereby influence the total cement hydration process. It is particularly recommended in areas like:
- Concrete highways
- Retaining walls
- Dams
- Columns
- Canal linings
- Roof decks
- Taxiways
- Runways etc
ADVANTAGES:
- Ensures uniform and efficient curing
- Reduces surface dusting
- Reduce temperature-rise in concrete
- Ensures achievement of desired strength
- Reduces shrinkage cracks
- Highly effective where there is scarcity of water particularly during summer
- Recommended where desired quality control is not up to the standards
COVERAGE:
- CONCRETE : 0.15-0.20 kg/m2 depending on wind, humidity and ambient temperature
- Actual dosage to be finalised on the basis of site trials
INSTRUCTION FOR USE:
- AT-CURE (WB) P is sprayed on the newly laid concrete once the surface water has disappeared.
- It can be applied with the help of a spray gun and for larger areas automatic equipment is required.
- The material has to be stirred well prior to application.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE:
- CLEANING
- Clean all tools and equipments immediately after use.
